If we experience any form loss, mood swings or feeling depressed for unknown reasons, it may indicate hormonal imbalances (including the hormone of happiness), but also deficiencies in certain nutrients.

Mood and well-being are influenced by such factors as: length and quality of sleep, intestinal microflora disorders, values of parameters such as triglycerides, total cholesterol and its fractions, fasting glucose and tolerance, and hormonal balance. The latter is in particular the production and secretion into the body of the hormones dopamine and serotonin. Therefore, one should bet in the diet on products that are a good source of protein, which includes the amino acid tryptophan (a building block of the serotonin molecule). Food also contains substances affecting the stimulation center – excitation (adrenaline secretion), such as: tartrazine, orange yellow, sodium benzoate, sulphites and sodium glutamate, which are artificial food additives that can even cause hyperactivity, concentration problems and even aggressive behavior in the consumer. The products listed above are really only products that will support the work of your brain, regulate the hormonal balance and will be a substrate for the production of hormones of happiness. It’s good to keep these foods in mind, but let’s really take a break from thinking about what I can and can’t eat (although in moderation, let’s not get too carried away).
